18th May 2012 Large businesses are failing to take advantage of the opportunities offered by social media, research by Satmetrix, a cloud-based software developer, has found. Over 70% of B2B customers do not track social media conversations relating to their business and 55% of companies are not responding to user feedback.

17th May 2012 The phone giant Samsung has overtaken Nokia to become the largest mobile phone company, with consumers buying nearly 90m units in the first quarter of 2012. Samsung is also the leading smartphone seller, selling 38m, more than Apple.

16th May 2012 Computer chip maker AMD has launched a new advanced chip, targeted at ultra-thin devices. The company claims that the new chip, code-named Trinity, provides the same processing capability while using half the battery power, thus extending battery life.
